The Story
Following the success of their Top 10 ARIA Australian Album “And Go Nowhere”, Sydney’s rising dream pop emo trio EGOISM announce their limited edition pressing of the reworked (Trust Me) tracks, six live-evolved reinterpretations from “And Go Nowhere”. The vinyl release includes two exclusive tracks only available as part of this Record Store Day release, pressed on custom smoky colourway with an etched side.
“You develop a different relationship with a song once you’ve played it live for a while,” the band explain. “Arrangements evolve, especially in stripped-back sets. (Trust Me) was an experiment to reflect that looser, DIY energy. It’s all home recorded, something lo-fi that captures the versions of the songs we’d grown into over time.”
