Sinatra is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century. The singer and entertainer was also successful as an actor, winning an Oscar for his role in „The Man with the Golden Arm.“ During his career, Sinatra had to endure many controversies and scandals. However, he was always able to fight back and continue his career. Sinatra was also politically active and supported John F. Kennedy and the civil rights movement, among others. Frank Sinatra died in 1998 at the age of 82, leaving behind an incredible body of work.
