Purity Ring - Another Eternity - Vinyl LP Record

After sixty-five fortnights, Purity Ring have returned with their second album Another Eternity. The pair ventured home to the frozen industrial landscapes of their birthplace Edmonton, Alberta to document much of what was to become the album. For the first time, vocalist Megan James and producer Corin Roddick were able to create a record in the same room.

Including singles "Push Pull" and "Begin Again," they once again recorded and produced 'Another Eternity' themselves, trading the claustrophobic atmospheres for wide-open expanses of sound. Megan James' vocals are in sharper focus as she details her lyrical universe of "Sweat and Dreams" populated by sea castles, rattling spines and weeping drawers, while Corin Roddick's gift for evocative melody remains intact but his percussive skills and use of space have been refined and honed.
