The Story

The Rocky Horror Picture Show original movie soundtrack, released on Lou Adler’s Ode Records in 1975, is celebrating its historic 50th Anniversary. On August 15, 2025, Ode Records is releasing the original soundtrack remastered by Pete Lyman of Infrasonic Mastering and pressed on dual-coloured vinyl. The album package includes arranger and producer Richard Hartley’s handwritten diary of the original recording sessions, the muti-track sheet for “Don’t Dream It, Be It” and photos from those sessions including that of Tim Curry, Meatloaf, director Jim Sharman and recording engineer Keith Grant, as well as Producer Richard Hartley at the Olympic Studios, London.
